Research Fellow in Criminology and Sociology, Birmingham City University

Frazer is a corpus linguist with a particular interest in the representation of gender and sexuality across different forms of digital media. His primary research interest examines how corpus linguistics can be used to study the representation of gender and sexuality in videogames. However, he also examines how members of the so called ‘manosphere’ discuss gendered social actors and how gendered phonomena are represented in the press (such as 'chemsex').
