I am a conservation focussed marine ecologist interested in exploring factors that drive wildlife distributions and developing techniques to quantify the interactions that result from spatial overlap with anthropogenic activities.

As a member of the Sims Lab based at the MBA my research aims to utilise big datasets provided by the collaborative Global Shark Movement Project to answer questions related to the present-day distributions of pelagic sharks with a view to estimate future niches in the face of a changing ocean environment.
