Gabriel Alomar-Garau

PhD in Geography (2012). Degree in Geography (University of Barcelona, 1996). Degree in Philosophy (2021). Post-graduate degree in Geographical Information Systems and Remote Sensing. Post-graduate degree in Environmental Sciences, Techniques and Management. Director of the Master’s in Landscape and Restoration programme at the University of the Balearic Islands, and lecturer since 2007. He undertakes research in Landscape, Urbanism, Urban Ecology and Climate. His work also focuses on territorial analysis through GIS and on techniques of cartographic representation and design. Member of the Climatology, Hydrology, Natural Hazards and Territory (CLIMARIS) Research Group at UIB, and member of the management board of the Water Observatory. President of the Landscape Group in the Spanish Association of Geography.
