Associate Professor of Sports Media; Director of the National Sports Journalism Center, Indiana University

My research focuses on the influence of electronic and new media on the interactions between sports media, sport organizations, and sport consumers. Some of the specific areas I research are sports journalism, online sport fan communities, sports blogs, sport video games, and social networking. I am also interested in the changing nature of sports broadcasting in the post-mass media era.
