I am a social and economic geographer by training and have a particular interest in the following topics: urban and regional development, critical global studies, innovation studies, and sustainability transition.

In addition to doing research, I teach and supervise master and doctoral degree students. I have had professional experiences as individual expert/consultant within my field of expertise. I am happy to be involved in joint (academic) writing, research, studies, and policy analysis.
Currently, I am acting as the vice-chair of Indonesia Association of Planners (IAP) 2019-2022 for Social Development Division. I am also a member of some professional associations and networks, such as Regional Studies Association (RSA), Indonesian Regional Science Association (IRSA), and Rural Research Planning and Development (RRPD).
