Principal and Managing Director of The Investigative Practitioner and PhD student, Birmingham City University

Dr. Geof Hill is the Principal and Managing Director of The Investigative Practitioner, a management consultancy focused on helping professionals improve their practice. Geof completed his MSc (Hon) in Management Science by investigating his use of Human Sculpture to facilitate organisational change. His doctoral degree in Education investigated the introduction of new paradigm investigations and the subsequent impacts on thesis writing, thesis supervision and thesis examination. His post-doctoral research focused on designing and delivering professional development in research supervision for university academics.

Geof writes and facilitates professional development curricula for people wanting to enhance their practice. His current research is exploring the ways in which business professionals make use of reflective and reflexive practice.
He is the author of the Wordpress blog The Tesearch Supervisor's friend.

Geof has held several university lectureships in parallel with his management consultancy. He has championed the use of creative media, such as cabaret, in academic discourse.
