Associate Research Scientist in Archaeology, University of Michigan

I am an archaeologist and museum curator specializing in the ancient cultures of the Middle East and North Africa. I have directed archaeological projects in Syria and Sudan, and am beginning a new project at one of the capital cities of ancient Kush at Jebel Barkal in northern Sudan. I have curated exhibits at the Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago, the Institute for the Study of the Ancient World at New York University, the Detroit Institute of Arts, and the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology at the University of Michigan.
