Georgia Destouni

Georgia is Head of the Department of Physical Geography, Stockholm University, and a professor of hydrology, hydrogeology and water resources. Her research topics and interests include hydroclimatic change, water systems and water environment, solute transport and water quality, and Arctic change. She has more than 200 publications in these fields of research, is member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences, fellow of the American Geophysical Union, and has received the Henry Darcy Medal of the European Geosciences Union.
