I hold an artists’ diploma from the Academy of Music in Munich (Germany) and a PhD in philosophy from the University of Sydney where I am currently teaching performance, chamber music, orchestra studies, instrumental pedagogy and the philosophy of music. I work on topics of the history and philosophy of music, musical performance and pedagogy.
