Gracen Bookmyer is a MA student in Gerontology at Simon Fraser University. Her previous work has focused on supportive services for older adults in rural areas throughout Oregon, advance care planning facilitation, dementia friendly communities in rural parts of Oregon and Washington and serving on the Klickitat Senior Advisory Board. She has a passion for photographing older adults and listening to their stories. Her research focus areas are on rural aging issues and narrative gerontology.
