Dean of External Engagement, College of Social Sciences, University of Glasgow

Graeme Roy joined the University of Glasgow as Dean of External Engagement in the College of Social Sciences in March 2021. Before that, he was Director of the Fraser of Allander Institute and Head of the Department of Economics at the University of Strathclyde. He'd rejoined Strathclyde in 2016 after 8 ½ years in the Scottish Government – formerly a Senior Economic Adviser and head of the First Minister’s Policy Unit.

He is also member of the Economic Observatory, a CI on the ESRC PrOPEL Hub and a Research Associate for ESCoE.
