Research Fellow in Urban Studies, University of Salford

Graeme is a Research Fellow in the School of Health and Society and Co-director of the Sustainable Housing and Urban Studies Unit (SHUSU) at the University of Salford, leading on the unit’s Sustainability and Society theme. His research covers a range of issues under the sustainability banner with a particular focus on the relationship between people, buildings and infrastructure, and environmental impact. He explores the social science dimensions of sustainability, including the challenges of facilitating more sustainable practices and in addressing social and environmental justice elements. With a background in planning, his research concerns local, regional, national and European scales and has focused on urban transport, cycling, energy efficiency in buildings, urban energy systems, climate change, and urban food.
