My name is Hannah and I live and work on Treaty 13 territory in Tkaronto, where I'm a Ph.D. Candidate in the Gender, Feminist, and Women’s Studies Department at York University. I am a feminist researcher and emerging Girls' Studies scholar who researches girl activists, their politics, and their relationships with their mothers and mother figures.

My other research areas include youth activism, sex education, and sex education controversies. Beyond my research, I am the co-founder of the Ontario Digital Literacy and Access Network (ODLAN), producer for the Resisting the Script and the Sexuality Studies Spotlight podcasts and involved with other organizations and projects that help foster intergenerational relationships in 2S-LGBTQ+ communities.
