I am a Molecular Microbiologist with research interest in microbial metagenomics, environmental microbes and zoonotic pathogens. My current research focuses on the prevalence of enteric pathogens in wild birds and investigating the antimicrobial resistance mechanisms and virulence factors which contributes in making
them highly pathogenic strains of health concern.
