I have worked on seasonal climate variability and prediction at BoM since 2001. I have expertise in the MJO, ENSO/IOD, the Australian summer monsoon, the Southern Annular Mode and the coupling of the stratosphere and troposphere. I have published more than 100 papers in peer reviewed journals. I was elected Fellow of the American Meteorological Society and the American Geophysical Union in 2016. I received the Bureau of Meteorology's Excellence Award in 2012. I am currently a member of the Scientific Steering Committees for the WCRP SPARC Project and the WWRP/WCRP S2S Project.
