Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Auckland University of Technology

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Auckland University of Technology. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Guelph, in Canada, where I was part of a DNA barcoding lab. During that time, I worked on a variety of projects, including bat diet, market fraud, and butterfly taxonomy. I then moved to Auckland where I began my master's on a taxonomic analysis of whiplash squid (Mastigoteuthidae). I stayed at AUT for my PhD where I worked on cephalopod taxonomy in an effort to increase the conservation of squids and octopuses.
