I am a Lecturer in Marketing at The York Management School. I received my PhD in Marketing from the Bradford University School of Management and also hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Research Methods from the University of Bradford as well as a MBA and Bachelor of Science from California State University.
A consistent theme across my research is the study of a consumer’s self-concept and its impact on attitude and behaviour. Moreover, due to my interdisciplinary educational and professional background I actively explore opportunities to incorporate various perspectives in the study of the self and its role in cross-cultural consumer behaviour, body image perceptions and human-robot interactions, including artificial intelligence.
I am currently also the Head of the BSc in Marketing at the York Management School.
