Helen Bollaert

Helen Bollaert isf ull professor of finance at SKEMA Business School. She held the post of Research Dean from 2016 to 2020. She defended her Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (Accreditation to Supervise Research) in March 2016. She holds a PhD in corporate finance from the University of Lille 2 (FFBC) and is a graduate of ESCP Europe.

Her research interests include mergers and acquisitions and CEO Psychology, with publications to date in the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, the Journal of Corporate Finance, Small Business Economics and the Journal of Business Ethics. She was formerly a lecturer at IESEG School of Management, Lille and worked as a financial auditor prior to her career in education.
