Helen Mary Dervan

Senior lecturer in law BCL(Oxon), TEP, Auckland University of Technology

I hold a BA/LLB(hons) degree from the University of Auckland and a BCL degree (postgraduate degree) from the University of Oxford. I have been admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of NZ and to the roll of solicitors of England and Wales, but am now an academic and not in legal practice. I also hold the TEP (Trust and estate practitioner) designation from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. I am co-chair of the Banking and Financial Services Law Association Academic Committee and a member of that organisation. I am a member of the Education Committee of the NZ chapter of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
