Helena P. Osana holds a PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. She is currently Full Professor and Concordia University Research Chair in Mathematical Cognition and Instruction in the Department of Education at Concordia University. Her expertise lies in the instructional factors that enhance children's numeracy development. She teaches elementary mathematics methods courses in the teacher education program and research methods at the graduate level.
