Helene Maisonnave

Professor of Economics, Université Le Havre Normandie

Hélène holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis. She is specialized in Development Economics and Computable General Equilibrium Models. Since her PhD, Helene has developed several CGE models mostly on African countries (notably South Africa as she used to live and work there), dealing with trade reforms, education and labor market issues, millennium development goals and climate change. She has worked with the Poverty and Economic Policy (PEP) network since 2007, and was the director of research for the Modelling and Policy Impact Analysis (MPIA) group between September 2012 and January 2018.
