Hilda’s primary responsibility in the Ageing and Development Program is to pro-actively support the coordination, conduct, analysis and presentation of qualitative research. In addition to undertaking specified administrative tasks, she also supports the Policy Engagement and Communications division in planning, organizing and disseminating accurate information about events and issues that pertain to the Ageing Program.

Hilda holds a MSc. Degree in Gerontology from the University of Southampton and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Nairobi. Her early research work begun at the National Council for Population and Development and the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics.
