Hilya Mudrika Arini

Young and fun engineer, researcher, and lecturer can reflect Hilya’s professional world.

Hilya is a lecturer and researcher in the Industrial Engineering Program, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia. As a lecturer and researcher, she is passionate to conduct researches related in Behavioural Operations Research, Project Management, Disaster Management, and Risk Communication. Additionally, she teaches in several subjects, i.e. Decision Analysis, Operations Research, Project Management, System Modeling, System Dynamics and Agent-based Modeling.

She obtained her MPhil and PhD at the Department of Management Science, University of Strathclyde in the area of Behavioral Operations Research. She has completed her Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) by training from Industrial Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) Indonesia as well.

In addition to the academic background, she is an active member who participates in several professional organisations, namely Project Management Institute UK Chapters, the Operations Research Society, and Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS).

In her spare time, she sings and plays several music instruments, such as guitar and piano, with her friend as well as her students.
