Hoi Lun Cheng

2008 - completed undergraduate combined degree in Exercise and Sport Science and Nutrition and Dietetics.
2014 - Awarded PhD in the health sciences discipline, for a thesis that examined nutrition (specifically iron) deficiency in young women with overweight and obesity.
2014 to current - working as an early career researcher at the Westmead Children's Hospital Academic Department of Adolescent Medicine on research projects that advance knowledge on the puberty and adolescence, the key factors that impact upon health trajectories during this formative life stage, and what supportive interventions we can provide to help those at risk of suboptimal health during this period.
