I am a PhD Student in Social/Personality Psychology working under the co-supervision of Jessica Tracy and Mark Schaller. Broadly, my empirical research investigates how widespread changes in natural and social features of human environments alter the prevalence of beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors.

In one stream of research, I use a big data approach to describe and explain fluctuations in the pervasiveness of moral values, political attitudes, and prejudices. In this work, I have primarily examined the effects of seasonal changes, political elections, and social movements. In a second stream of research, I use a multi-method approach involving survey, experimental, and archival data to examine how historical and contemporary cultural trends have shaped how people evaluate and select leaders.
