Dr Garcia has qualifications in Interpreting in translation from both the University of Sydney and UNSW.
He currently teaches and researches on Translation and Spanish at UWS, and his research include the deployment of digital technology to assist bilinguals to translate and people interacting in unfamiliar linguistic environments.
He has also taught and published on Spanish and Latin American studies, having completed his PhD on this area.
