Imran Mahmood Qureshi Hashmi

Research Fellow in Agent-based Modelling, Brunel University London

Currently working as Research Fellow at Computer Science Department, Brunel University UK. Previously, I worked as Assistant Professor at the Department of Computing, School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS) at the National University of Sciences and Technology, (Pakistan).

I have also served as Director for the Center for Research in Modeling & Simulation (CRIMSON), since August 2015. Before that, I was an Assistant Professor at the College of Computer Science, University of Dammam, KSA and an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore. Here, I supervised research projects as Lead researcher at the Center for Simulation and Visual Analytics Research.

My research interests include agent-based modeling, distributed Artificial Intelligence (AI), multi-agent systems, complex system modeling and analysis and the formal verification of complex systems, using modern methods in software engineering.
