Ingrid Woolard is Dean of the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences and Professor of Economics at Stellenbosch University. She is also an Honorary Professor of Economics at the University of Cape Town. She was a member of the Employment Conditions Commission from 2008 to 2014 and a member of the Davis Tax Committee from 2013 to 2018. She works on the measurement of poverty and inequality, social protection, unemployment and fiscal policy.
