Isabelle Dostaler

Isabelle Dostaler is Provost and Vice-President (Academic) at the University of Regina. Prior to joining the University of Regina, she was Dean of Business at Memorial University and, before that, she was a Professor of Management at Concordia University. Her teaching interests are strategy, critical business thinking and technology management. Isabelle Dostaler has conducted research in a number of industries such as automotive, electronics, aerospace and aviation research, and is a strong advocate for bridging the gap between business research and business practice. Her research has been published in journals such as the Canadian Journal of Higher Education, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Air Transport Management, Journal of Aviation/Aerospace Education & Research, Operations Management Research and the Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences. She also writes for a practitioner audience and is frequently asked by various media to comment on business news. She has been Director of Concordia University’s Aviation MBA and has conducted several research projects in aerospace and aviation for government agencies.
