Developmental genetics explored with the tools afforded by the genetic model organism, Drosophila. I have explored the role of cell to cell signaling in axon guidance of the nervous system, the assembly of the heart and currently, growth and remodeling of the heart and supporting substrates during stress.
I also teach 'Science-for-Policy' to an interdisciplinary program, with an interest in post normal science.
