(she/her)
JASPER Postdoctoral Researcher, University of Arizona

I am a postdocoral researcher working with a team of James Webb Space Telescope researchers at the University of Arizona's Steward Observatory. Our group primarily focuses on research related to quasars and supermassive black holes, where I am the lead researcher in near-infrared imaging. In 2022, I graduated with my PhD in astronomy from UT Austin; my thesis focused on the evolution of extreme galaxy environments in connection to quasars and active galactic nuclei. I am also active in public science communication, in particular as an organizer and "Astronomy in the News" anchor for local chapters of Astronomy on Tap, an international organization that gives public astronomy talks at local breweries.
