Jacob Albin Korem Alhassan

Assistant Professor, Department of Community Health and Epidemiology, University of Saskatchewan

I obtained a PhD from the department of community health and epidemiology, Usask. I have backgrounds in African Studies, Public Policy, Global Health and Health Administration. My research focuses on the complex interplay between political and social factors and health inequalities. My research is informed by the theoretical perspective of the political economy of health and has explored topics such as as public transportation, health equity analysis and poverty reduction using the political economy lens.
