James B. Barnett

Postdoctoral Fellow in Behavioural Ecology, McMaster University

I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour at McMaster University (ON, Canada). I completed my PhD at the University of Bristol (UK) in 2016, and then held postdoctoral positions at McGill University (QC, Canada), before moving to McMaster University in 2019. My research focuses on visual ecology: 1) how animals see and respond to colour, and 2) how animals use colour to conceal or signal their presence.
