E. Marie Shantz Professor of Organizational Behaviour, Queen's University, Ontario

I specialize in developing and sharing knowledge that helps organizations to build highly effective teams, overcome adversity, and minimize harmful interpersonal behaviours. My research has been published in top-tier journals and I am the recipient of several best paper awards. I have worked with a number of organizations in the U.S. and Canada and am regularly invited to speak about building positive organizational cultures, teams, workplace harassment, conflict, and inclusion to associations of academics, policy makers, and employees. I teach courses on leadership, global virtual teams, and organizational behaviour in several academic programs at Smith School of Business (MBA, EMBA, MIB, PhD).
