I am an ecologist with broad interests in the evolution and ecology of animal-plant interactions, nutritional ecology and biodiversity conservation. I study how local environmental factors such as food quality and climate interact to limit diet and habitat selection by populations and communities of herbivores. My research incorporates a range of taxa, including mammals, insects and plants, and integrates large-scale field experiments, plant chemical analyses and molecular approaches. I also have strong interests and experience in wildlife management and conservation policy.
