Jay Wilson

I am a professor in the discipline of curriculum studies, a subject which is at the heart of training teachers. My work encompasses a range of important process and knowledge that help in the development of new and experienced teachers, including awareness of ethics and professional conduct. As a department head I am responsible for hiring and mentoring new faculty and part-time sessional lecturers to support our programming. Part of my mentoring includes guiding new professors through the expectations of life as an academic. My research is in the area of learning design and teacher development.
