Jeff Da Costa is a PhD researcher in Hydrometeorology at the University of Reading, UK. He completed an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science at the University of Montreal, Canada and a postgraduate degree in Applied Meteorology at the University of Reading.

His PhD research focuses on investigating the validity of linear solutions to complex problems. How we can effectively adapt to the consequences of increasing severe weather events under climate change and what can be done to prepare for them and mitigate their impact, specifically early warning systems and adaptation to hydrometeorological hazards.
