Jeff holds a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Montreal (Canada) and an MSc in Applied Meteorology from the University of Reading. He has a special interest in climate change related risk management and science communication.

His research focuses on investigating the validity of linear solutions to complex problems in order to effectively adapt to the consequences of increasing severe weather events under climate change and what can be done to prepare for them and mitigate their impact, specifically early warning systems and adaptation to hydrometeorological hazards.
