Jeffrey Stepnisky

Bio: Jeff Stepnisky is Associate Professor of Sociology and Kule Chair of Ukrainian Community and International Development at MacEwan University in Edmonton. He studies sociological theory, selfhood and identity, collective memory, space and atmosphere and has published in journals such as American Behavioral Scientist, Social Theory and Health, The Journal for the Theory of Social Behavior, and Space and Culture. Also, with George Ritzer, he is co-author and co-editor of several handbooks and textbooks on sociological theory.
