Dr. Jen McConnel is a teacher-researcher and writer. She is a former ELA teacher with a decade of classroom experience, and her work focuses on supporting teachers across contexts. Her research interests include academic writing, children’s and young adult literature, and the uses of metaphor in teaching and writing.
