Ph.D. Candidate, Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education, University of Toronto

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education at the University of Toronto. The focus of my research is on supporting, developing, and advancing women in coaching. More specifically, I study the role of mentorship and sponsorship in achieving gender parity for women in the domain of coaching. I am a former USport and NCAA Division I student-athlete, as well as a former Canadian university sport assistant coach. I hope to bridge the gap between research and practice for women in coaching and contribute to the further recruitment, retainment, and advancement of women in sport.
