Jennifer Zaslona

Post-Doctoral Fellow, Sleep/Wake Research Centre, Massey University

Dr Jennifer Zaslona is Post-doctoral Fellow at the Massey University Sleep/Wake Research Centre. Having recently completed her doctoral studies, her current research interests centre around sleep and fatigue in different operational settings, in particular in aviation. Her doctoral research focused on the use of in-flight sleep as a fatigue mitigation strategy for commercial pilots but she has also been involved in projects with helicopter pilots, air traffic controllers and commercial bus drivers. She is also broadening her research interests into the investigation of sleep, sport and physical activity and is currently collaborating with other research groups in this area.
