Jeremy Sussman, MD, MS, is a Research Scientist in the Center for Clinical Management Research at the Veterans Affairs Ann Arbor Health System and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School.

Dr. Sussman's primary research interests are in improving the personal tailoring of medical decisions, particularly for the primary prevention of cardiovascular disease. His work uses risk prediction and evidence from randomized trials to determine which patients will benefit from established treatments, with the goals of making treatments more efficient and patient-centered. He is also interested in improving the risk prediction tools that are central to effective decision-making.
