Jianhong Wu is a University Distinguished Research Professor, a senior Canada Research Chair, and an NSERC/Sanofi Industrial Research Chair in Vaccine Mathematics, Modelling and Manufacturing. His expertise is in infectious disease modelling, data analytics, neural computation and dynamical systems. He led national research teams for modelling the SARS outbreak and the H1N1 influenza pandemic, and is leading the National Covid-19 modelling Rapid Response Task Force. He is serving on multiple expert panels for Canadian federal and Provincial governments.
