Jim A.C. Everett

PhD Candidate, University of Oxford

I am a social psychologist and philosopher at the University of Oxford, and a 2015/2016 Fulbright Fellow based at Harvard University. I work primarily on human morality and parochial altruism, exploring when, why, and how people help their own group members more than members of other groups. In particular, I am interested in the practical implications of this work for tackling large scale societal issues like environmental sustainability and poverty relief. I am passionate about politics, justice, and dogs.
