Joel Cutcher-Gershenfeld

Professor of Social Policy and Management, Brandeis University

Joel Cutcher-Gershenfeld is a leading expert in high-performance work systems, negotiations and conflict resolution, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and accelerating technological change. Joel is a professor, teaching strategy and operations in the Heller School's social impact MBA program at Brandeis University. He is the former dean of the School of Labor and Employment Relations at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Joel is an award winning author of 13 books and over 100 scholarly articles, policy papers, and book chapters. He has facilitated large-scale systems change initiative in Australia, Bermuda, Canada, Denmark, Iceland, Jamaica, New Zealand, Panama, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Joel holds a Ph.D. from MIT and a B.S. from Cornell University.
