John Field

John Field is Professor Emeritus in the School of Education at the University of Stirling, and Chair of Scotland's Learning Partnership, a national association for adult learning. He is an active researcher who has published widely on education and training across the adult life course. Recent books include a study of British work camp systems before 1939, and the Sage Handbook of aging, work and society.
