Julie Gawrylowicz

Lecturer in Psychology, Glasgow Caledonian University

Dr Julie Gawrylowicz is a lecturer in Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University. Her research interests lie in the area of cognitive and social psychology, both theoretical and applied, encompassing research on memory, face recognition, and meta-cognition with a focus on forensic applications. Most of her research focused on vulnerable groups of people, such as people with intellectual disabilities, children, and the elderly, and how to ensure fair access to and treatment by the Criminal Justice System for them. Julie is a member of the Forensic Psychology MSc team at GCU and leads the Glasgow Eyewitness Memory (GEM) lab.
