Professor of Health Economics and Mathew Flinders Fellow, Caring Futures Institute, Flinders University

Julie Ratcliffe is Professor of Health Economics and Mathew Flinders Fellow in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Flinders University. She is also the inaugural Health and Social Care Economics theme leader for the newly established Caring Futures Institute. This Institute is committed to influencing and informing high quality, safe, and reliable care to individuals and communities across the lifespan. Professor Ratcliffe holds Honorary Professorial appointments at the School of Health and Related Research, University of Sheffield and the Institute of Health and Wellbeing at the University of Glasgow. Professor Ratcliffe is a member of the Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA) Council on Economic Policy and she is the current elected President of the Australian Health Economics Society.
