Julie Sonnemann

Julie has significant experience in school education policy and system change. She has co-authored a number of high profile schooling reports on effective teaching, student progress, schools funding and equity.

She has worked at both federal and state government levels and consulted internationally. She has studied high performing education systems including Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Canada.

Julie is an economist by training, with a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Melbourne.
