Juliet A. Williams is Professor of Gender Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her most recent book is The Separation Solution? Single-Sex Education and the New Politics of Gender Equality (University of California Press, 2016). She is contributing Co-Editor of Public Affairs: Politics in the Age of Sex Scandals (Duke UP, 2004). Williams has published widely on the legal and cultural regulation of gender and sexuality, with articles appearing in journals including PS: Political Science and Politics, Policy Studies Review, Political Research Quarterly, and Signs. Her op-ed pieces have appeared in The Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, and elsewhere.
